As a wedding celebrant in Mallorca, I had the pleasure of officiating a beautiful wedding ceremony for a lovely couple from Japan & UK, held at the stunning Son Marroig in the Tramuntana mountains. How did you meet?

“She came for an English lesson at the school I worked at (not with me.) So we chatted briefly, I later said to my co-worker that I thought she was cute! But then she didn’t come back for more than 1 year!

After she came back I taught her for some classes, and she joined some school events and we got closer. She invited me to Tokyo Disneyland, which was kind of our first date but I was a bit worried about breaking the school’s rules for teacher/student relationships so we keep things platonic!

Eventually I got over it and we had our first real date, we went to the cinema, had dinner and from that day we became a couple.”
